Connecting our North County Region with Vandenberg Space Force Base
The State of Vandenberg is hosted in partnership with the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce to connect our whole North County region with the leadership at Vandenberg Space Force Base. As a critical hub for national security and global launch operations, the base serves as a primary driver of our regional economy. This gathering offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from Base Leadership regarding mission priorities, operational developments, and the strategic outlook for the year ahead.
This event works to promote business and opportunity for the Santa Maria Valley by strengthening the vital partnership between the base and our local community. Providing transparency into the installation’s mission—from launch cadence to infrastructure and workforce needs—helps our members understand the base's regional impact. Fostering this shared awareness ensures our local businesses and leaders are positioned to support the continued growth of our region’s aerospace and defense sectors.
